The affiliation of any individual, grouping or organisation to us is much more than just a special occasion. A Ray of Hope began life as a telephone call, developed into a choir of 60 children and ten teachers from 6 schools and now has snowballed into a family of 140,000 people caring and being cared for. No empire was ever meant but how comforting it is to have strength in numbers and commitment. This commitment takes many forms - items urgently needed, finances, friendship, sources of advice, interest or even a medium to spread the ethos that diversity of culture is enrichment. What never has made sense to us is diversity of effort and revenue through administration. We have a proud boast that not a single penny meant for children is wasted on the periphery of giving - I can only guess that few emulate us : thanks mainly to those who have affiliated and to those who we are honoured to call our friends..
