Bandawe
Girls Secondary School is located along the shores of Lake Malawi in the
Northern Region of the country and is situated approximately 100Km from the city
of Mzuzu.
It
is a relatively new school existing only 5 years. The School is under the
instruction of the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP), Synod of
Livingstonia. It is also obtaining assistance from the government in the form of
teaching staff. It is governed by a co-operative and supportive Board of
Governors. There have been a number of government cuts in funding recently which
has increased difficulties with staff salaries.
