The Sobo Orphanage & Motherless Babies Home Dakar Senegal  was founded to support the children in Senegal.to provide the children at  Orphanage with food, health care, shelter, clothing, education and the personal attention needed for each child's physical, spiritual and emotional well-being.

 

Sobo Orphanage is currently home to over 1033 children. The orphanage is adjacent to a hospital, dental clinic, school. These facilities plus the individuals and children who live there, Due to increased of HIV rates and increased poverty, SOMBH Orphanage is feeling the pressures of the rapidly growing number of orphans in Senegal and resources are severely limited. This number continues to increase as there are estimated to be over 1 million orphans in Senegal
