OUR MISSION STATEMENT Caring
for Needy Children in an Eco-friendly Institution
To support and advocate for the needs and rights of
children who are orphaned or affected by HIV?AIDS in Kenya and Africa.
We need resources .
Our programes directly serve the needs of grassroots
needs of vulnerable children.
Grassroots responses to the needs that raise resources
within Kisumu community and Rusinga Island on lake Victoria
Programs that demonstrate strong leadership and community
ownership
Our Project with several international awards is with a
history of effective community action including Government and other Donor
Agencies
We have special programmes where children take part in
decision making , advocacy and leadership including making one a member of our
Board .
OUR OBJECTIVES 1)
To live in an eco-friendly community and save the present system the future
generation 2)
To contribute to sustainable system by reducing dependency on non-friendly
products that may increase carbon emissions or exacerbate environmental
degradation. 3)
To care for the children as well as the environment and create environmental
appreciation and awareness in the centre by encouraging active participation by
children in environment projects such as animal husbandry, farming, water
catchments etc. |
